Modes
Modes are the derivation of modern music's diatonic scales, they are a way of interpreting and playing a scale. Modes are a useful improvisation tool.
They are a pattern of notes that start on different degrees of the scale. They are made up of the same notes as their parent. Follows a table of the eight modes and their start and end notes relative to C major.
